Although it may be small, we’ve finally committed to a small bit of sponsorship for an equestrian event.  Stoneleigh Riding Club have a 2 day event on May 27th & 28th .  This event will consist of dressage and show jumping on the Saturday, followed by roads and tracks, steeple chase and the cross country on the Sunday.  Salisbury Apps are pleased to be sponsoring not just 1 but 2 of the cross country jumps.  

All members of British Riding Clubs are able to compete as teams or as individuals, as well as juniors and seniors.  The banners are ordered, let’s hope they’re not to spooky for the horses.

There are 4 classes of heights, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 100cm.

Our Social Expert Michele will be competing there with her lovely Connemara gelding called Joey.  They have just recently joined a local Riding Club (Swindon District Riding Club), as they wanted to feel part of a team/ family out in the world of One Day Eventing.  After her fellow members saw her horse jump, they were keen to have her on the team for this event.  We will keep you updated along the way of their journey and how they get on at this event.

Michele is a horse enthusiast through and through and we love watching them in action together.
