We recently had the pleasure of designing and building a new website for AG&G Timber, a family-run business based in Ludgershall, Wiltshire, with more than 30 years’ experience in designing, building and installing quality timber buildings.
Bringing an established website up to date
AG&G Timber already had its own domain and an established website, but the existing site had become dated and no longer reflected the quality of the business or the range of work they undertake.
The aim wasn’t to change who they are, but to give them a modern, easy-to-use website that better represents the business today.
The new website showcases their range of timber buildings, including sheds, workshops, summerhouses, stables, gates and outdoor storage, as well as their bespoke made-to-order service.
Strong project imagery helps potential customers see the quality of AG&G Timber’s workmanship, while clearer navigation makes it much easier to explore their services and get in touch for a quote.
The website has also been designed to work smoothly across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
A new website without changing the domain
One thing that’s worth highlighting with this project is that a new website doesn’t necessarily mean a new domain.
AG&G Timber already owned aggtimber.co.uk, so we were able to retain their established web address while completely redesigning and rebuilding the website behind it.
It’s something we regularly help businesses with. If your website has been around for a number of years, you don’t necessarily need to start from scratch with your whole online presence – sometimes it’s simply the website itself that needs bringing up to date.
We’re really pleased with the finished result and, most importantly, AG&G Timber now has a website that better reflects the established business behind it.
